Neeeshl Varde, Ph.D., has been hired as an instructor for
the Data Marketing Communications program at West Virginia University’s Reed
College of Media. Varde will teach DMC 663 Brand Data Collection and
Varde is a senior product manager at Roquette America, where he is involved in the management and strategy for several global brands of food and pharmaceutical products, and is heavily involved in data visualization through pricing and sales management. He has also spent the last four years serving as an instructor and course developer for Roquette University®, which offers a series of educational courses designed for professionals in the human nutrition, animal nutrition, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.
Previously while at the University of Michigan, Neelesh worked in developing the infrastructure for one of the first distance learning classes offered in the School of Engineering, Chemical Reaction Engineering (ChE 344), and served as the course teaching assistant.
His background includes a B.S. from the University of Michigan (summa cum laude) and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
