Area of Emphasis in Integrated Marketing Communications

The Integrated Marketing Communications AOE is intended to prepare DMC students to develop the skills required to manage integrated marketing communications campaigns for their firms. Students will be exposed to course work in integrated marketing communications, audience insight, brand equity management and emerging media.

Courses

Each course is 3 credit hours, totaling 12 hours:

DMC students must complete these four required courses. Note, that a cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required for graduation from the DMC program. Courses and grades from the Area of Emphasis will be counted towards a student’s cumulative GPA (a C- or better is required in courses, with an overall cumulative GPA of 2.75) in the DMC program.
