Leyda Hernandez hired as Campaigns instructor

Leyda Hernandez has been hired as a instructor for the
Data Marketing Communications (DMC) graduate
Leyda Hernandez program at West Virginia University. Hernandez will teach DMC 680 Campaigns, the capstone course for the master's program.

Hernandez is an award-winning marketing leader and instructor who takes a ‘big impact’ approach to business growth. Drawing inspiration from iconic and alluring campaigns, Hernandez gets creative in delivering strategic marketing programs and systems that improve efficiency, drive growth and spark brand magnetism.

She is the director of marketing at, a Saas platform bringing attention and conversion analytics to the television advertising world. She was recognized on Forbes 30 Under 30 list and named among the Top 10 Women in Tech by Everstring. 

Hernandez holds adjunct faculty positions at New York University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, General Assembly and West Virginia University where she teaches courses on digital marketing, analytics, and campaign measurement. She also sits on the board of trustees for Marketing EDGE, a nonprofit dedicated to developing the next generation of marketing talent. 

Hernandez is an alumna of Florida State University where she earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in public relations and studio art. She is also a graduate of West Virginia University’s Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) program. 

She writes and speaks nationally on strategic growth, operational scalability and the impact technology has on human behavior. In her spare time, Hernandez enjoys reading business books, exploring new music, and delighting in the latest haute couture collections.
